Wine Tasting Reviews from Switzerland and the World: Red, White, Rosé, Sweet and Sparkling
Vertigo 2017, Livio Felluga

Vertigo 2017, Livio Felluga

This Vertigo wine is a red blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon produced by the Livio Felluga winery in the Friuli area of the North-East of Italy. The wine mixes grapes from different areas around Veneto, Trentino-Alto Adige and the Friuli Venezia Giulia, hence the Trevenezie IGP appelation. The maturation is managed both in steel and in French oak barrels for 12 months. This nicely red Vertigo 2017 is an elegant soft-body wine that offers wood-berries and plum aromas with hint of spices at the end.
