Wine Tasting Reviews from Switzerland and the World: Red, White, Rosé, Sweet and Sparkling
Chapelle de Potensac 2014

Chapelle de Potensac 2014

The Chapelle de Potensac is a red wine from the Bordeaux Médoc region which is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. This wine is the second wine of Château Potensac, a winery that belongs to the Domaines Delon. This wine group is famous for managing the Deuxième grand cru classé Château Léoville Las Cases in Saint-Julien. The color of its 2014 vintage is dark ruby. The nose is charming with aromas that evolve between red flowers, black cherries and raspberry jam. Its mouth is velvety with aromas of berries and some hints of wood. This long-lasting Chapelle de Potensac 2014 is already very pleasant, but given the sediments found in the bottle, it seems to be able to age gracefully for a few more years.
