Blauburgunder Ottenberg Alte Rebe 2018, Michael Broger

This Blauburgunder Ottenberg Alte Rebe is a Pinot Noir red wine produced by the Michael Broger winery located in Canton Thurghau in the Northeastern part of Switzerland, next to Lake Constance. This wine is a pure Pinot Noir, pressed from the grapes of 45-year-old vineyards, fermented with 100% natural yeast and mainly matured in new barriques during a 15-month ripening phase and then bottled unfiltered. The 2018 vintage of Michael Broger Blauburgunder Ottenberg Alte Rebe is a dark purple wide-body wine that offers aromas of dark cherry and blackcurrant, sometimes with hints of jam that you enjoy in a long-lasting finish.
