The Liante Salice Salentino 2017 is a red wine produce in the south of Italy by the winery Castello Monaci. This wine from Puglia is a blend of Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera.
The harvest takes place, partly manually and partly with the machine, in the early hours of the morning between the second and third ten days of September. After being pressed, the grapes ferment separately at a controlled temperature in steel tanks with maceration of 10-12 days and scheduled pumping over. At the end of the malolactic fermentation, the assembly takes place and then part of the wine matures for 6 months in second and third passage French barriques while the rest is aged in steel.
Color: Deep purple wide-bodied wine.
Nose: cherry jam, dried plum, chocolate and vanilla.
Palate: velvety with smooth tannins, earthy, mocha, fruits, lasting finish
